All, I am looking for a Catholic Bible I can use. I have tried looking for an accessible one for a while. It's a book I wish to read on a daily basis if possible. James.

Hmmm. You might try checking the Xavioer Society for the Blind, as they put a good amount of material in alternate format for people who are blind. You might check with your local diosis or church to see where they get their supplies and literatnure from. I used to get material of a musical nature years ago from Oregon Catholic Press. Hope this helps.

I got a new testament Catholic bible on cassette from a religious store near me. You might want to try that.

here's something I have been wanting as well, the king james bible in text format, so all I have to do is take my laptop to church and not have to drag a brail bible along to church. we never know where the preacher is gonna be reading from, so I would have to take alot of books along. where as if I could just take my laptop along, it would be easier.

Hi, the Cd idea is great. Also, Perhaps NewAdvent, ewtn or www.Catholic.com might have a downloadable version. If you want a Cd version, why not check out Ebay or half.com. Hope this helps

On the NLS Web-braille website, I found aBible with an apocrypha. Is that what you're looking for? Also on Bible.com you can read the Douay Rheims version of the Bible by verse or chapter.

Oh! I forgot! You can also buy the Douay Rheims bible on Future Aids. http://www.futureaids.com. Good luck.

The king James and maybe even the Catholic one you can get either NLS or Bookshare. I know I've gotten the King James bible from NLS as I downloaded it a year or more ago.
